The Tsewang Foundation, established in 2023 by Lama Chakhung Tsewang Rinpoche and registered in Australia, aims to promote societal well-being through the practice and study of Buddha’s wisdom and compassion. A key initiative is the preservation and translation of works by His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok, fulfilling Lama Chakhung Tsewang Rinpoche’s promise to his uncle to make these teachings accessible in English.

Venerable Chakung Lama Tsewang Rinpoche, born in 1980 in Serta, eastern Tibet, is a distinguished Tibetan meditation teacher and retreat master. He began his monastic education at age eight under H.H. Jigme Phuntsok and studied at Serta Larung Buddhist University, where he served as vice president for the environment. Following his uncle’s passing in 2004, he continued his studies and retreats across the Himalayas and later taught in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Since moving to Australia in 2018, he founded the Memorial Translation House, Yishin Norbu, and the Tsewang Foundation to promote Buddhist teachings and practices, dedicating himself to benefiting countless beings.

After his uncle’s passing in 2004, he continued his studies and undertook retreats in sacred locations across the Himalayas, including Bhutan, Sikkim, and Nepal.
嘉贡喇嘛财旺仁波切是法王如意宝晋美彭措的侄子，来自一世敦珠法王家族。他从小跟随法王如意宝学习大圆满法，接受灌顶、传承和窍诀，长期修行。在色达喇荣五明佛学院学习五部大论及显密教法，曾担任环保部负责人，并在2001年负责学院长寿佛大法会。仁波切还在龙多活佛前获得了法王如意宝前世列绕郎巴大师的伏藏法扎龙的灌顶和传承，并修持了两年。
